I’m Kali, pronounced Kaylee, and I grew up in Chicagoland. I knew from a young age I’d be working in entertainment and living in California. I was on the road to LA right after graduating with a BA in Communication & Media Studies.  I produced my first commercials within 6 months of moving to LA and I’ve been producing ever since. I sharpened my skills as part of the production team at Smuggler for 4.5 years. I started as the Staff Production Supervisor and began learning to bid immediately. I was later promoted to a Bidding Producer, giving me extensive connections to crew throughout the US and service companies worldwide, as well as the knowledge of high-end production strategies. I bid some of the earliest experiential work in commercials. I was also a Staff Line Producer at Caviar in 2012 before going freelance. I’m comfortable shooting anywhere, have worked with a plethora of celebs and I’m a Creative Producer too, not just a Line Producer.

 I’ve produced for companies such as Biscuit, Smuggler, Park Pictures and Sweet Shop to name a few. Some ad agencies I’ve worked with include: Wieden+Kennedy, BBDO, McCann, 180, DDB, Saatchi and 72andSunny.

 If I’m available, I prefer to EP or bid the jobs I produce. It’s always a good advantage to have. The Brits have this figured out, and I’m trying to pioneer this style of producing in the states.
